I'm Kendall, currently a graduate student at Cornell University studying Information Science. I was an early admit to the IS MPS program and concurrently began my graduate degree in the final semester of my undergraduate career and will complete it in December of 2023. As an undergraduate, I double-majored in Information Science with a concentration in Interactive Technologies, and Environment & Sustainability with a concentration in Environmental Economics and Sustainable Business.
My professional experiences and internships have predominantly taken place within the startup space so I've had the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of teams and projects specifically at the intersection of product development, project management, and user experience design. I'm particularly interested in honing this experience in a product management role upon my graduation this winter. I'm excited to utilize novel technologies and techniques to solve problems in the world around me.
I'm excited about the intersections of sustainability and technology, as well as the greater societal, cultural, and historical implications of tech products have on humans. 'm passionate about making technology more accessible and equitable, developing sustainable technical products, and learning new things along the way.
Outside of my studies, I've enjoyed teaching, as a volunteer with the Cornell Prison Education Program, as a Basic Rock Climbing instructor, and as a Graduate Teaching Research Specialist for undergraduate courses. I'm also a member of the Triphammer Cooperative on campus, and an active member of the Women's Club Ice Hockey team, In my spare time you can usually find me outside on a run, skiing, or hiking; at the climbing gym working on my latest project; or in the kitchen perfecting my latest recipes!
